Common questions
What does a broker cost me?
In most cases nothing. Brokers are generally paid a commission by the lender you settle with. If a fee ever applied to your situation, it would be explained and agreed in writing before you commit to anything.
How much can I borrow?
It depends on your income, commitments, deposit and the lender's policy. The borrowing power calculator gives a rough range, and a short chat with Abby turns that into a real figure.
Should I fix my rate or stay variable?
It comes down to whether certainty or flexibility matters more to you. Fixed locks in your repayment for a set period; variable moves with rates but usually offers offset accounts and extra repayments. Many people split their loan to get a bit of both.
How quickly can a personal loan be arranged?
Personal loans can usually be moving within a day of receiving your details.
Do I need to come into an office?
No. Everything can be done by phone, text, email or Messenger, whichever is easiest for you.
